The ho’ponopono prayer practice is more powerful than you think

I recently wanted to go deeper with the ho’ponopono prayer practice.

For those of you who don’t know, Ho’oponopono is a traditional Hawaiian healing and reconciliation practice centered on forgiveness, love, and personal responsibility. In its modern form, it teaches that by healing the memories, emotions, and unconscious patterns within ourselves, we can transform our experience of life and relationships. The practice is often done by repeating four simple phrases: “I’m sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you.” Through sincerity and inner reflection, Ho’oponopono aims to restore peace, harmony, and emotional healing.

The story that illustrates the most the power of this healing practice is the one of Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len, a Hawaiian therapist who worked at the Hawaii State Hospital in a ward for criminally insane patients. His ward was considered extremely dangerous. Patients were heavily medicated, many staff members quit. Instead of meeting with the patients directly in traditional therapy sessions, Dr. Hew reportedly did something very unusual.

He reviewed each patient’s file privately. As he read about each person, he practiced Ho’oponopono inwardly. Rather than trying to “fix” the patients, he focused on healing whatever within himself was connected to the suffering he was witnessing. That is reminiscent to the law of attraction which states that you create your own reality… Therefore,
if something seemingly out of harmony appears in my experience, there is something in me that can be healed.

Over time, staff reportedly noticed changes:

  • Patients became calmer.
  • Some required less medication.
  • Violence decreased.
  • Patients improved enough to be released.
  • The atmosphere of the ward transformed.

To me this is very counter to how the therapists of this world are told to work. There is less dissecting others and more work on the part of ourselves that relate to others.

I practiced this very simple prayer and I can honestly say that it is very immediate and powerful. This is very simple indeed and that is definitely a tool anyone can heal to energetically cleanse oneself at the root level of emotional trauma.

Don’t be surprised if after a couple of days of practice, you feel more uplifted, people start waving at you in the street or others remark that you are illuminated. At least that has been my experience so far.

Try it! You will not regret it!

Guided Meditation on Fridays (by donation)

What to expect?

I’m honored to offer this spiritual experience. This event is designed to help you unwind from a busy week, restore peace and get in touch with your core essence.

We will open with a guided meditation and finish in silent meditation.

I will be calling on the Source of unconditional love, the celestial angels and my galactic friends to create a sacred space infused with Divine Love and Earth energies, an opportunity for blessings to flow and healing transformation to occur.

At times, I will be joined by a guest channeler, and together, we will co-host soul awakening practices in a workshop format, either woven into the meditation or following it..

Hello everyone!

A while ago I decided to write my first post on Quora, namely a definition of divine love. For those who have been to my divine love prayer circles, you know this is a topic close to my heart. Here is the definition of divine love. Let me know yours in the comments.

What is divine love?

“Divine Love is the highest form of love in the Universe for it comes directly from the Creator. It will be tempting to attach many positive attributes to it like unconditional, gentle or unselfish and we will be right and yet we would fail to capture completely the true Essence of divine love for it is that and much more. For these attributes are human perceptions of what love is and when we work on ourselves we too can be gentle and unconditional beings to a certain degree. Divine Love is more than what we are capable as human beings, it is received in the core of our beings, our soul. Contrary to certain beliefs, our soul does not contain everything although we can experience a relationship to everything in the universe… it certainly does not contain an infinite supply of divine love although it can have a finite amount of divine love, a spark of divinity if you will. For the Creator does not impose himself onto his children. We are given free will and in this the choice to experience the Love of God. So as we pray for the inflowing of divine love, we are accumulating the essence of Love, sharing soul to oversoul with God. We are transforming our soul, releasing what doesn’t serve us, expanding our capacity to love, and our awareness of the soul reality of God which transcends the material senses and also dimentional concepts like time and space. In time, long after we pass in spirit, we can experience a very advanced spiritual condition: being in a state of at one-ment with the Creator. These beings have many names, they are commonly referred to as Angels. They have received so much of the Divine Love within their souls that they have left their humanity behind and dwell in heavenly planes of spirit matter. More on Soul Truths
